Telecom companies like Airtel and Vodafone-Idea are looking to copy Reliance Jio’s business model in the case of tariffs. However, this news is not suitable for telecom users who use talk time more often than the internet and SMS.

Airtel and Vodafone-Idea users will have to recharge every 28 days

According to some media reports, other telecom companies including Airtel, Vodafone-Idea are ending their short-term talk time plans. With this, the users are being forced to recharge in at least 28 days.

Is this step of telecom companies right?

Reddit and some popular telecom blogs have been questioned about this decision taken by companies. When we open the MyAirtel app to view the status of Talktime Recharge age, we only saw three talk time plans. The first plan was 10 rupees, the second was 1,000 rupees and the third was Rs 5,000. The validity of the recharge is unlimited in these plans but the validity of outgoing calls is only 28 days. You can see its screenshot below.

Similarly, when looking at Talktime Recharge in Vodafone’s app, there is no such change at this time.
