IRCTC launches AskDisha, passengers will get all answers

IRCTC has introduced Artificial Intelligence-based Chatbot AskDisha for improving consumer service for passengers. With the help of this system, the railway passengers will know the information related to travel, train, tickets and catering from the IRCTC website. IRCTC has claimed that it is the first government department in the country to offer such a system. AskDisha is given below on the right side of the IRCTC website.

Visit the IRCTC website and click on the option of AskDisha below to the right. A box will open once you click. Passengers can get answers to their questions in this. A special computer program has been designed for the passengers who have started the facility. This program will provide the passengers with all the information they ask. IRCTC has said that through this, passengers will be able to get answers to every question from ticket booking to catering.

Let us know that this system will also be used in regional languages. This system will soon be connected to Android. Apart from Indians, the foreigners will also be able to get answers to their questions.

Earlier, the Railways had introduced an app under which railway passengers would be able to book e-tickets through the IRCTC Rail Connect app. This app has been updated by Railway. This update is currently for Android app. Under this update, railway passengers will be able to book e-tickets through the IRCTC Rail Connect app. The benefit of this facility will only be lifted by the IRCTC e-Wallet holder. IRCTC has tweeted the information about this.

Booking a rail ticket, the PNR status, want to know about any value-added services on IRCTC – Disha chatbot takes care of everything. The simple conversational format efficiently resolves the basic inquiries of a passenger. Aimed at easing the process of booking and related queries, Ask Disha will answer most of the questions.

“The IRCTC chatbot Ask Disha will offer greatly improved and intuitive customer support by answering customer queries pertaining to all aspects of the services that IRCTC provides. Ask Disha will support several regional languages and will be voice-enabled and will soon be integrated with IRCTC Android App in the near future,” a senior railway official stated.
